We need a diesel engine to run a vertical turbine well pump that will require about 95 hp. The pump impeller will spin at about 1800 rpm. We will need to put this request out for bid, as we are a public water utility. Do you have any specifications that you could send me? Do such engines "comfortably" run at about 1800 rpm, or should I plan on some gear ratio in the angle drive? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
